About us
We are Thijs & Cyril: roommates and friends with a shared passion for sneakers and clothing.
We started Rhinestudio as a creative initiative to sell handmade dyed apparel. But, we found ourselves questioning the long-term impact of what we were doing. That's why we fully reinvented Rhinestudio to truly reflect our vision for the apparel industry. This is our story.

Our vision
Following the 2020 lockdowns, we have seen how quickly the environment can restore itself, how rapidly businesses can adapt and how resourceful and cooperative people can be. We are convinced that a post-pandemic world can be better than the one that preceded it - and we are motivated to work with people and fashion brands to make it a reality.
Sustainable streetwear with a story: that is what we stand for. At Rhinestudio, we focus on up-and-coming and local brands that strive to make an impact. We want to give these brands a podium to help them challenge the status quo of the fashion industry and achieve their mission.
We want Rhinestudio to be a one-stop-shop for finding and buying sustainable streetwear with a story. No more exploring the dark corners of Instagram. Up-and-coming streetwear brands with a purpose all gathered on one convenient platform.
Impact is created where purpose meets convenience.

Impact
Noun - im·pact - "the force or action of one object hitting another"
Study shows that there is a growing need among people to make a positive impact on their surroundings. However, what we see is that these words often do not result in action. This is not because people don't want to, but because the barrier to make an impact is too high.
That is where we jump in. We want to make it easy for everyone to transform words into action by simply buying fresh streetwear of carefully selected brands.

Purpose
Noun - pur·pose - "why you do something or why something exists"
Sustainability is a shared mindset that we
consider a must for all the brands we work
with, as we consider it to be the future of
fashion. It should not be a differentiating
factor in itself. Hence, we want sustainable
brands with a deeper, underlying purpose.
These purposes can vary from exclusively
working with leftover and deadstock
materials to reduce waste, to working with
refugees or addressing societal issues.

Convenience
Noun - con·ve·nience - "the state of being able to proceed with something without difficulty"
A quick Google search for a recipe. Binge watching via on-demand streaming platforms. Having our groceries delivered without even leaving the couch. We live in a day and age where consumer convenience is the highest it has ever been.
We have not only gotten used to convenience, but we (sub)consciously demand it. This why we continuously strive to make the experience of exploring Rhinestudio as convenient as possible.

Premium Logo Tee
We want to take responsibility. In doing so, we find it important that we do not only take a facilitative role in empowering responsible brands with our platform, but also take active steps ourselves. To start with, we have donated our left-over stock from our previous tie dye venture to Homebass Foundation, ensuring that over 80 homeless people in the Amsterdam and Nijmegen area have warm feet during the cold months.
Besides that, we have created our very own Rhinestudio Original Premium Logo Tee. We will donate 10% of the profits from the sales of the Premium Logo Tee to Fashion for Good.
