About us

We are Thijs & Cyril: roommates and friends with a shared passion for sneakers and clothing.

We started Rhinestudio as a creative initiative to sell handmade dyed apparel. But, we found ourselves questioning the long-term impact of what we were doing. That's why we fully reinvented Rhinestudio to truly reflect our vision for the apparel industry. This is our story.

Our vision

Impact

Noun - im·​pact - "the force or action of one object hitting another"

Study shows that there is a growing need among people to make a positive impact on their surroundings. However, what we see is that these words often do not result in action. This is not because people don't want to, but because the barrier to make an impact is too high.

That is where we jump in. We want to make it easy for everyone to transform words into action by simply buying fresh streetwear of carefully selected brands.

Purpose

Noun - pur·​pose - "why you do something or why something exists"

Sustainability is a shared mindset that we
consider a must for all the brands we work
with, as we consider it to be the future of
fashion. It should not be a differentiating
factor in itself. Hence, we want sustainable
brands with a deeper, underlying purpose.

These purposes can vary from exclusively
working with leftover and deadstock
materials to reduce waste, to working with
refugees or addressing societal issues.

Convenience

Noun - con·​ve·​nience - "the state of being able to proceed with something without difficulty"

A quick Google search for a recipe. Binge watching via on-demand streaming platforms. Having our groceries delivered without even leaving the couch. We live in a day and age where consumer convenience is the highest it has ever been.

We have not only gotten used to convenience, but we (sub)consciously demand it. This why we continuously strive to make the experience of exploring Rhinestudio as convenient as possible.
